Tideman boats

All Tideman boats are indestructible. That is why they exist. It’s no wonder that Bruno Tideman and Dick Gilles share the same vision for innovation. As Bruno summarises it, “Innovation is about improving what’s bothering you. For me: vulnerable boat materials in rough environments. That bothered me, tremendously.”

These ‘marine innovators’ have now entered into a seamless working partnership for customised tenders, work boats, and pilot boats, which operate with minimal maintenance in ports and harbours all over the world. All made from HDPE (high-density polyethylene).

It is in Middenmeer where these vessels first see the light of day. An affectionate nickname for the Tideman is ‘John Deere on the water’. Produced in any version that customers wish for, with the most suitable drive and propulsion: outboard or inboard motors, electric, hybrid, hydrojet, with or without a bow thruster, and so on. But always with the same characteristics – exceptional buoyancy, unsinkable, requiring almost no maintenance, sustainable. For the 10 specific characteristics of HDPE and all the available options, see the Tideman website.
